Wine Dinner

The major wine growing regions of Italy such as Tuscany, Piedmont and Campania
often overshadow other wine growing regions that feature their own unique
varietals or different expressions of more common varietals found in Italy.

Situated between Piedmont and Veneto, and bordered by Switzerland to the
north, is the picturesque region of Lombardia. Famous for its fashion capital of
Milan and the stunning lakes of Como, Maggiore and Garda, Lombardia is also
an important and dynamic wine growing region, featuring the three areas of
Franciacorta, Oltrepo Pavese and Valtellina. The wines are often more elegant,
fresh and refined than one expects of Italian wine and reflect the unique “terroir”
of the region.

We are excited to host our first wine dinner of 2012 and welcome Nicola Morosini
Of Harvest Importing. Nicola is a native of Lombardia and the only dedicated
importer of the region’s wines. Chef Jon will present a dinner menu that will pair
perfectly with the wines, including typical cheeses of the region.

Happy Hour

We are excited to announce that we are changing our Happy Hour concept effective today!  In addition to our “By the Glass” list of red and white wines, which will remain 50% off, we will be offering an extended list of wines from our regular list at 50% off each bottle.  This list will change each week to give our customers a greater selection of wines from which to choose, as well as offering the opportunity to experience new wines.  Chef Jon will offer a daily selection of food rather than a set Happy Hour menu.  Our Happy Hour will continue to be Monday to Friday from 4 to 6 pm.  We will also start dinner service immediately upon opening rather than after Happy Hour.  We think this concept is unique and offers our guests a greater variety of food and wine selections.  Please come and join us

Turley Wine Tasting

Sunday February 12th (7pm) – We are excited to offer a tasting of one of the most unique and highest rated Zinfandels coming out of California.  Turley Wine Cellars has been consistently recognized for its single vineyard, small lot Zinfadels that span different territories from Napa Valley to Paso Robles.  The wines are big, with an amazing balance of luscious fruit and the classic higher alcohol style of the California Zins.  Simply put, Turley makes great wines.  This is a very limited tasting of different single vineyard offerings from select vintages.  We will over some light food to accompany the wines. Reservations required. Very limited seating. Cost: $85 (CWC Members: $76)
